This year is our 2nd year doing this retreat ride to Key West. We had 22 bikes, and 7 vehicles with a total of 50 participants. We left at 8:30am on Oct. 31, 2020 and headed South. our first stop was just before the Everglades where we met up with the representatives from Pepsi. They made sure that everyone had cold beverages for the ride.

The second stop was at Peterson’s Harley Davidson in Miami, where the Harley Davidson franchisees had a hot lunch and entertainment waiting for us when we arrived. From there we set off for Key West with one more stop scheduled to stretch our legs and fuel up for the final destination.

After a unscheduled stop do to an accident with some of our riders, the participants voted on moving ahead with plans. So the remaining part of the group head for hotel 24 North in Key West. Once everyone arrive we all went to dinner and tour Duval St street as a group. At 9 pm that evening we did our raffle for the one of a kind Harley Davidson Quilt, the winner was Josh Young out of Williamston, SC.

We were very excited about the turn out of participants this year, with riders who came from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. The Board of Directors of the PTSD Awareness Summit would like to “thank” everyone who participated and supported the cause. We look forward to next years 3rd Annual Invasion of Key West Ride that will take place on September 25- September 27, 2021. All details will be announced soon on our Facebook page.
